Kite Painting DIY
Flying a self-made and self-painted kite is both a fun experience and a source of pride. The Hsinchu City International Kite Festival has specially arranged this kite DIY activity, inviting kite experts to guide participants in creating their very own kites.

Fish Print Postcard & Bookmark DIY

Activity Details: Fish printing (gyotaku) is a traditional art technique that creates fish-shaped images by transferring ink or paint impressions from a caught fish onto paper. It is often used by anglers to commemorate their catches or preserved as decorative artwork. This fish printing DIY activity provides a fun and educational way for participants to learn about different fish species.

Fish Wood Painting DIY
Inspired by the ocean, the Fish Wood Painting DIY activity invites participants to create their own colorful fish designs on wooden pieces. From painting and decorating to adding personal touches, every brushstroke brings the wonders of the ocean to life. Once completed, the fish-shaped wooden piece can be taken home as a hanging ornament or keepsake, offering both the joy of hands-on crafting and a relaxing creative experience. It's a wonderful activity for families to enjoy together while creating a beautiful memory of the sea.

Hsinchu Harbor Cultural Walking Tour

Discover the rich culture and heritage of Hsinchu Harbor through this guided walking tour. Led by professional guides from the Hsinchu Fengdong Zhuqian Cultural Association, participants will explore the harbor through in-depth cultural interpretation, interactive fishing-themed games, and a trivia quiz with prizes.

Beach Cleanup

Centered on the theme "Protect Our Coast, Restore Nature," this activity invites participants to the Fish Scale Stairway and surrounding beach to help remove litter from the intertidal zone and seawall. Through hands-on action, participants not only contribute to a cleaner coastline but also gain a deeper understanding of marine debris and the importance of marine conservation.
